Dear Supporters
Dear Supporters,
August is upon us and dare I say the school year is right around the corner. July showed our clubs true summer weather and plenty of opportunities for our club kids to get outside. One of those opportunities took place in July when we collaborated with four of our Community Partners, the Stateline Y, City of Beloit Recreation Department, Community Action and the Welty Center to put on the second annual Stateline Summer Camp Olympics held at Big Hill Park. Over 300 kids took part in fun activities, while displaying all five of our organizational values along the way, Communication, Teamwork, Respect, Success and Trust. I am always humbled when Community Organizations come together for the betterment of our young people in the Stateline Area. We value our Community Partners and look forward to next year’s event.
Annual Giving Campaign, GREAT FUTURES CAMPAIGN is moving along. We are over a quarter of the way towards our goal of $25,000. Campaign runs until December 31, so there is still time for you to make an impact on the life of a child.
Thanks for all you do,
Mark A. Rand
Chief Executive Officer
