Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs
Beloit, WI & South Beloit IL

Dear Supporters

Dear Supporters,

February has brought winter weather in full force here in the Stateline Area, but it has not stopped our club kids from enjoying time at our clubs doing STEM projects, art projects and staying physically active. Please enjoy all of the enclosed photos and if you would like to come see these things first hand, contact me at 608-365-8874, or mrand@statelinebgc.org to set up a tour. Our kids would love to see you.

March brings Youth of the Year State competition on March 11 and 12, so best of luck to our Youth of the Year Katherine Elizalde as she competes. We are all proud of you Katherine.

As always, THANK YOU for helping us provide GREAT FUTURES for the young people of the Stateline area.

Thanks for all you do,

News From Our Clubs

South Beloit had a fun-filled February. We held our Valentine’s Day Party on February 13. The staff and Eboni from Beloit Domestic Violence and Survivor Shelter did a great job coming up with fun games and activities for our members and their families. Domino’s Pizza donated 20 pizzas to our party and the kids ate every single slice! Another thank you to Dollar General for donating all of the chocolates for Valentine’s Day, our members enjoyed them!

We also received a surprise CPR training from Kurt Fago from the South Beloit Fire Department this month! The staff was given an on-site situation testing their CPR and AED knowledge from past trainings.

Coming up on March 11 and 12, our Stateline Youth of the Year Katherine will head to Madison Wisconsin for our State Youth of the Year Program. While there she will give her Youth of the Year speech in front of her other Wisconsin Youth of the Year peers in hopes of being chosen to be the State Youth of the Year. Wish her luck!
