Amarah King
Bruce Nichols | South Beloit Club
Amarah King was chosen as our Member of the Year because she truly embodies the spirit and values of the Bruce Nichols Boys & Girls Club.
Amarah is always helpful, kind, and gentle, with a bright personality that lights up every room she enters. She goes above and beyond without being asked, always thinking about others and how her actions will make them feel. Her considerate nature and genuine care for those around her make her a role model for her peers. Amarah loves coming to the Club—so much so that even when her ride arrives, she lingers to chat with staff and share her positivity. Her enthusiasm for being part of our community is inspiring, and her sweet demeanor paired with her strong sense of empathy shows that she has an incredibly bright future ahead.

Margaret Richardson

Margaret is an extraordinary young member whose gentle spirit and genuine warmth brighten every corner of our club.
Over the past year, she has continued to blossom, showing incredible maturity, patience, and positivity. Margaret greets each day with a kind smile that makes everyone around her feel welcome and valued. She treats every peer with fairness and kindness, never leaving anyone out and always helping create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. Margaret naturally steps in to support both staff and fellow members, offering help before anyone even asks. Her thoughtful nature, respectful attitude, and strong leadership inspire others and make her someone everyone loves to be around.
Whether she’s helping a friend, engaging in activities with her group, or simply spreading joy with her bright energy, Margaret lifts the entire club community. Her kindness, consistency, and beautiful heart make her truly deserving of this recognition.
